Debbie is a Native of Los Angeles and was raised in Arcadia, and went to Arcadia High and then Cal Poly Pomona for College. Debbie had gone to College to become an Accountant, but during her last year of College, her mother made her a proposition to purchase the Travel Agency her Aunt and Uncle had started in 1972, since her Uncle was having major health issues. Mary had been working at another Agency for many year, and felt it was time she wanted to go on her own, so this way they could keep Titan Travel as a family ran business.
So on September 4, 1989, Mary and Debbie became the owners of Titan Travel. Unfortunately for Debbie, Mary passed away in the following year. So Debbie has been the Sole owner since 1990. Debbie enjoys traveling and learning new things, so this was truly a fit for her.
When Debbie is not working at Titan Travel or traveling she is volunteering. She is a member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses as a White Suiter since 2001, San Marino Rotary Club member since 1992, she has been active and a past Leading Knight with the Arcadia Elks Lodge since 1998, and very active with the San Marino Unified School District since 2005. She received the Halo award in 2013 from Huntington Middle School and the Honorary Service Award in 2014 for her volunteering at the Schools. Debbie also has been putting on the San Marino Fourth Of July Parade for the San Marino Rotary Club and City of San Marino since 2003. Debbie has one child who attends the San Marino School District and is also a member of Boy Scout Troop 358, which Debbie is the Old Goat’s Chair.
Debbie has always been so thankful for the Community and feels she can thank them by being active in volunteering back her time to them. When Debbie isn’t doing any of the things above she enjoys, camping, white water rafting, glider riding, ATV riding, Horseback riding, snow skiing or water skiing, bike riding, spending time with her animals, friends and family, or traveling.
